About the Executive DIrector
Roberta Stuart is the Executive Director at the Council Of Parent Participation Preschools in BC. She found her way to the Council through her involvement with her local parent participation preschool. Her experiences there reinforced her beliefs in the tangible values of a supportive community and the positive effect it can have on one’s family and community.
Roberta studied psychology at the University of Calgary, and completed her B.A. with Dance and Visual Arts Concentrations at Simon Fraser University, has worked in the landscaping industry and as a Doula before becoming a preschool parent. Roberta stubbornly believes that inclusive, diverse and supportive communities can nurture a world where kindness, love and respect prevail and everyone can feel valued for their contributions. |
